Write Tons Of Content… In Your New Blog

Posted on April 29th, 2007 in Content by Scott

It is important to write a lot of content in order to maximize the profits in your blog.  However many bloggers have a blog with a very limited scope.  They have targeted their blog down to a specific niche.  And while it is good to target a niche, it can limit how much you can write about on any given day.

How to you solve this crisis?  Start another blog.   After all, there must be more than one thing you are interested in.  What are you interested in?  Blogging? Poker? Football? Airplanes?  Start a new blog about one of them.  If you have 10 blogs, then you can write 1 post about each thing a day and put out a lot of content.  Alternatively, in order to write the content faster, you can write 10 posts on each day about 1 topic, and then delay post each post.  That way you can have one post appearing on each site a day, but you don’t have to think about 10 different topics every day.

Leveraging Your Sites

Additionally there are other good reasons to start multiple sites.   Remember how hard it was to start your first site?  Remember how hard it was to get your first couple of links?  Well if you have multiple sites, you can leverage the old sites into giving the new sites traffic.  You can use the old sites in order to generate the initial traffic for your new sites until your new sites are ready to stand on their own.
