New Way To Monetize Your Site
One new way to monetize your site is to sell text links ads. The way text link ads work is that you sell one link on one post to a specific advertiser. The text link will appear at the bottom of the page, right after the content, in ideal spot for your readers to click once they are done reading your page.
Your advertisers pay on a per link per month basis. The links can go for $5 - $10 / page / month. If you have a page with a lot of eligible posts, this can ad up to a lot of money. And since you are likely to be adding new posts all the time, you can quickly increase you income.
John Chow has a great article on his attempt to monetize his site using text link ads. It appears that he believes he will be able to make and extra $3,000 - $4,000 per month. In other words, he can increase his profit by 30%-40% per month using this advertising scheme. He doesn’t even have to do any additional work other than signing up.
