Digg Works Best
For driving traffic to your site, Digg is by far the best social networking site. I have been using Digg along with Reddit, Del.icio.us, and Stumbleupon on this blog for some time now and have found that Digg tends to drive as much traffic to my site as the other three combined. Digg has been great at driving traffic to my site, and although Digg traffic doesn’t convert well into paid sales, Digg users are great for building up backlinks for a site.
After Digg I have found that Reddit is next best at driving traffic, followed by Stumbleupon. I found that the famed Del.icio.us was very bad at driving traffic and have generally stopped using it.
How bout you? What social networking sites do you use to drive traffic?

Delicious is a total waste of time…..
Stumble has worked big for me in the past, and can just go on & on: One of my readers stumbled a joke on one of my other blogs, it got 3000 visits in the first 24 hours, and has averaged 200 hits a day for the last month and a half: The cool thing with SU is that if one of the major stumblers likes it, it gets spread to their ‘friends’, which as in the case above, can really keep things going over a long period of time.
Never got much out of Digg or Reddit, but then I don’t really cover their topics.

Hey Christ,
Thanks for stopping by. I’m going to keep giving Stumble another couple of cracks hoping that I might be a hit now and again. I have heard, much as you say, that stumble is the best for getting recurring traffic, I just haven’t gotten a post yet that hits.
