Guest blogging is today a new and very interesting way to get new readers to your blog, often write the guest in his blog that he is going to guest blog and where, also can he with his article create new thing to your blog that you didn’t know about.

advertising submissions

A Trackback is one of three types of Linkbacks, methods for Web authors to request notification when somebody links to one of their documents.

I think one could make the argument that, for a new blogger, any exposure can be a good thing.

Obviously if you post something crappy it probably won't draw too many people to your site, but unless you consistently post something crappy not too many people will remember your site as being bad. i.e. you'll still get a crack at them later.

On the other hand, I definitely think you need to make sure you give out some of your "A" material. There is not point keeping all the best posts for yourself and giving out your dregs. That will get you very little trafic

Interesting observation. Actually, guest blogging can help or hurt your blog, especially if you say the wrong thing to the wrong folks. It's not easy guest blogging. It's actually harder than writing for magazines or ezines where you have a fairly set description of your demographics. Many blogs have much wider and more diverse audiences, and they are definitely, for the most part, more intelligent and willing to kick you in the teeth if you mess up. It's a huge responsibility to entertain, impress, and kick back. ;-) And not tick off the blog owner.
